Judy Elkins

Social Worker

Judith Elkin, LMSW, is a grief therapist associated with the Northeast Counseling Center in Poughkeepsie since 1997. She is a graduate of Vassar College and the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. After 9/11, she served as a staff member of Project Liberty, organized by FEMA to assist bereaved and traumatized individuals and families in the counties surrounding New York City. She serves on the Ethics Committee of Vassar Brothers Medical Center, and on the boards of the NYS Society of Clinical Social Workers and Spring Lake Ranch, Cuttingsville, VT.
