Suzanne Leonard

Suzanne Leonard has her limited permit as a graduate extern from Mercy College. She holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Behavioral Science, along with a Masters of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Suzanne started as a graduate student intern at FRMH in 2017 and is currently continuing to work towards obtaining her license as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Suzanne’s training and knowledge consists of a wide range of contemporary models in both Family and Couples Therapy. She is familiar with both clinical assessment and psychopathology of troubled families, assessment and intervention with the larger system with which families interact and the prevention of emotional problems arising from domestic violence, illness, unemployment and the court system. Suzanne has experience working with a variety of clients including couples, individuals, families and groups that focus on providing support. Suzanne currently helps those who are in need of assistance as a result of trauma, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. Suzanne’s goals are to help her clients find their own voices while in therapy and rediscover their ability to gain confidence within themselves to lead a happy and healthy life beyond their internal struggles.
